Overview
This is an opportunity to join the Digital Infrastructure investment team at a global asset manager, based at their London headquarters on Coleman Street. The team operates a growing private equity strategy spanning data centres, fibre, wireless infrastructure, and digital services across the UK, Europe, and North America.
As an Investment Associate, you will support the full investment lifecycle — from origination and execution through to ongoing portfolio management — with exposure to both balance sheet and third-party capital deployment. The role sits within a collaborative, high-performing team and offers meaningful involvement across deal activity, strategy, and fundraising.
Key Responsibilities
Support deal sourcing and screening activities across digital infrastructure sectors Conduct sector research and market analysis to identify and evaluate investment opportunities Build and maintain detailed financial models, including DCF and LBO analysis Support all stages of transaction execution, including due diligence and valuation work Manage external advisors and review their outputs to inform investment decisions Prepare investment papers and present findings to internal stakeholders and investment committees Monitor portfolio company performance, including reviewing management reporting and supporting board-related activities Contribute to wider strategy development, fundraising initiatives, and corporate development activity

Skills & Experience
ACA or CFA qualification, or actively working towards either Experience gained in a relevant transactional environment, such as investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or a Big 4 advisory practice Strong financial modelling skills, with demonstrated experience building DCF and/or LBO models Solid understanding of financial statements, capital structures, and valuation methodologies Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations Confident communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging a range of internal and external stakeholders Genuine interest in digital infrastructure and private markets, combined with a commercially aware mindset Fluency in a European language — such as German, French, Spanish, or Italian — is beneficial but not required
