An exciting, growing small-to-mid-cap private equity fund / merchant banking group looking to recruit an Investment Associate

The Fund

  • A generalist investor operating across Europe.

The Role

  • Active member of the investments team, involved in the entire deal-making process.
  • Deal origination, identifying and pursuing investment opportunities.
  • Commercial and financial due diligence, including financial modelling.
  • Deal execution, covering:
    • Deal structuring
    • Negotiation of terms
    • Managing external advisors
  • Additional responsibility for corporate finance advisory.

Candidates should exhibit:

  • Strategy consulting experience from leading firms, including:
    • Parthenon
    • McKinsey
    • Bain
    • BCG
    • LEK

    • Oliver Wyman
    • OC&C
  • Private equity or investment banking background (preferably at an associate level).
  • Proven track record of a strong UK client base and impressive deal sheet.
  • Enthusiasm for small- to mid-cap investments.
