Software Private Equity — Investment Team | Associate / Senior Associate | London
I'm working with a London-based private equity firm investing in high-growth B2B software companies across Europe. The team is expanding and is hiring at the Associate to Senior Associate level.
Responsibilities
- Identify, screen and evaluate new investment opportunities across the European software market.
- Build financial and operating models, including LBO, growth and returns analysis.
- Lead and coordinate commercial, financial and operational due diligence alongside external advisers.
- Support the structuring and execution of investments from first engagement through to completion.
- Work with portfolio company management teams on growth and value-creation initiatives post-investment.

Requirements

- Approximately 2–6 years in private equity, growth equity, technology-focused M&A / investment banking, or transaction advisory.
- Strong understanding of software and SaaS business models and the metrics that drive them (ARR, net retention, unit economics).
- Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills, with a clear grasp of growth and profitability drivers.
- Ability to build relationships and help originate opportunities across the software and investor ecosystem.
- Self-starter with strong commercial judgement, comfortable in a lean, entrepreneurial firm being built from the ground up.
