About the Firm
Our client is an established global private equity and growth fund managing several billion dollars of institutional capital.
The firm invests in rapidly growing, technology-led businesses with strong market positions, differentiated products and the potential to become significantly larger international companies. Its areas of interest include software, data, digital infrastructure and technology-enabled business models across a range of end markets. The investment approach is selective and research-driven. Rather than building a highly diversified portfolio, the team concentrates its resources on a smaller number of high-conviction investments where it believes it can contribute meaningfully beyond capital.
The firm works closely with founders, executives and management teams on areas including:
- International expansion and market entry.
- Commercial strategy and go-to-market development.
- Product positioning and innovation.
- Organisational design and senior talent.
- Strategic partnerships and acquisitions.
- Long-term financial and operational planning.
The London team is responsible for identifying, evaluating and supporting investment opportunities across Europe, while collaborating closely with colleagues and portfolio companies internationally.
The Opportunity
The firm is seeking an exceptional Investment Associate to join its growing European investment team in London.
This is a broad investing position covering the full investment lifecycle. The successful candidate will contribute to thematic research, proprietary sourcing, company evaluation, transaction execution and ongoing portfolio development. Unlike roles where junior investors are confined primarily to modelling or process management, the Associate will be expected to develop independent views, participate in senior-level discussions and build relationships across the European technology ecosystem.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
