I am working with a highly regarded mid-market investment banking boutique in London that is looking to appoint an Investment Banking Associate to its Technology, Media and Telecommunications team.

The firm advises founder-led businesses, private equity investors and corporate clients on a range of M&A and capital-raising transactions. With a strong pipeline of live mandates, the team is seeking an experienced Associate who can join at short notice and contribute immediately across transaction execution and client delivery.

The role

You will work closely with senior bankers and take significant responsibility for the day-to-day execution of transactions across the TMT sector.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing workstreams across buy-side and sell-side M&A mandates
  • Building and reviewing financial models, valuations and transaction analyses
  • Preparing information memoranda, management presentations, pitch books and other client materials
  • Coordinating due diligence processes and liaising with clients, investors and external advisers
  • Supporting senior team members in client meetings, transaction negotiations and business-development activity
  • Supervising and reviewing the work of Analysts
  • Conducting detailed company, sector and market research
  • Supporting the preparation of pitches and new business proposals
  • Maintaining high standards across all transaction materials and deliverables

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
