Investment Banking Associate, AI Internship | Applied AI x Corporate Finance
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Investment Banking Associate, AI Internship | Applied AI x Corporate Finance based in United Kingdom.

Accountabilities
- Contribute investment banking expertise to structured research projects designed to improve AI capabilities in corporate finance and capital markets.
- Generate, refine, and evaluate high-quality financial content that reflects the reasoning and decision-making processes of experienced banking professionals.
- Analyze and document transaction workflows, including origination, pitching, execution, and closing processes.
- Apply expertise in areas such as M&A, valuation, capital markets, and transaction structuring to enhance AI model performance.
- Provide clear written explanations of investment banking judgment, methodologies, and analytical approaches.
- Review and assess AI-generated outputs for accuracy, relevance, and alignment with professional finance standards.
- Collaborate remotely with teams working at the intersection of artificial intelligence and financial expertise.

Requirements
- Current MBA candidate with 3-7 years of prior investment banking or capital markets experience at a leading financial institution or elite boutique.
- Previous experience at Analyst or Associate level within investment banking.
- Strong expertise in at least one area including M&A deal structuring and valuation, equity or debt capital markets execution, sector coverage, or syndicate/book-running.
- Advanced financial modeling skills, including LBO, three-statement modeling, and DCF analysis.
- Experience working with complex transaction analysis, fairness opinions, market updates, and client-facing materials such as pitch decks.
- Strong ability to communicate investment banking concepts, decision-making processes, and professional judgment clearly in writing.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Curiosity about artificial intelligence and interest in the future of finance technology.
