Investment Banking Associate - EMEA Private Funds Group

About the Role
You will join the UBS Private Funds Group (PFG) within Global Banking, focusing on primary fundraising advisory. PFG delivers global advisory and distribution services to private fund sponsors across:
- Private equity
- Private debt
- Infrastructure
- Real assets
Merging robust primary fundraising with secondary and liquidity solutions, the group supports leading funds in capital-raising activities worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
You will contribute significantly to the origination and execution of fundraising initiatives, collaborating closely with:
- Senior PFG bankers
- Global distribution colleagues
- Clients
Core undertakings include:
- Evaluating opportunities: Assessing portfolios, track records, teams, strategies, and market dynamics.
- Guiding funding strategies: Advising on fund structuring, timing, investor targeting, and commercial/legal terms.
- Building stakeholder confidence: Presenting complex material transparently to institutional investors.
- Preparing key materials: Leading private placement memoranda, investor decks, due diligence questionnaires, and financial models.
- Managing virtual data rooms: Supporting due diligence processes.
- Ledger tracking and feedback: Maintaining robust fundraising databases, coordinating outreach, and producing critical reports.
- Roadshow support: Organising investor presentations, coordinating logistics, and liaising globally.
