We are seeking an Investment Banking Associate to join our Healthcare M&A team that is motivated to help support the strong growth in our practice and is keen to gain quality M&A experience and exposure.
The Impact You’ll Make
- Providing quantitative, qualitative and analytical support and analysis for mergers and acquisitions and other financial advisory services to clients across a variety of industries
- Preparing company valuations, financial models and client presentations
- Due diligence, project management, document processing and financial/statistical analysis
- Depending on experience, Associates can range from No.2 to No.4 on advisory teams
- Associates may be assigned specific departmental responsibilities, including in relation to business development activities

What You’ll Bring to Baird:
- Financial Acumen: Strong command of accounting principles and advanced financial modeling capabilities
- Analytical Rigor: Proven ability to conduct detailed financial analysis and synthesize insights
- Communication Skills: Skilled in crafting compelling presentations and written materials for internal and external audiences
- Project Leadership: Experience managing complex workstreams and meeting tight deadlines across multiple engagements

- Commercial Judgment: Ability to assess opportunities and risks with a strategic lens
- Deal Execution: Hands-on experience supporting transaction processes, including diligence, documentation, and client coordination
- Presentation Delivery: Confidence in presenting to senior stakeholders and clients

- Team Development: Experience mentoring analysts and managing output quality

One Of The Following Qualifications
- A graduate with a minimum 2:1 or equivalent
- Qualified Accountant or Lawyer
- MBA graduate
- 1+ years’ experience in an Associate or equivalent role within an investment bank or relevant industry
