Associate – Consumer M&A (Investment Bank) | London
An established investment bank is expanding its Consumer team in London, advising corporates, sponsors, and founder-led businesses across the sector. The platform pairs deep sector coverage with full-service execution capability across food and beverage, retail, leisure, and consumer brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute live M&A and capital raising mandates end to end, from origination through to completion
- Build and own financial models, valuations, and transaction and trading comparables
- Prepare client-facing materials including CIMs, pitch books, and marketing documents
- Lead workstreams and coordinate external advisers, working directly with Directors and MDs
- Contribute to origination through sector research, target mapping, and buyer/investor analysis

Candidate Profile

- 3–5 years in M&A or corporate finance at an investment bank
- Direct Consumer sector deal experience across food and beverage, retail, leisure, or brands
- Solid technical grounding in financial modelling, valuation, and comparable company analysis
- Highly analytical and commercially sharp, comfortable with client exposure and deal ownership
- Fluent English (further European languages an advantage); based in or relocating to London
