Seize this exciting opportunity to contribute to the Investment Banking business at J.P. Morgan as an Analyst / Associate within the Global Investment Banking – EMEA Strategic Investors Group (SIG).
Working alongside world-class professionals in a dynamic team, the Analyst / Associate will gain a robust foundation in Investment Banking through hands-on learning, mentorship, and extensive development opportunities. As a key team member, you will play an influential role in the origination and execution of projects and mandates for some of the most sophisticated investors globally.
About the SIG Group
The SIG team focuses on investment banking coverage for Private Equity Funds, Infrastructure Funds, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Pension Funds, and Family Investment Firms—clients with deep financial expertise across diverse industries and geographies.
Our product offerings cover:
- Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
- Leveraged Finance & Debt Capital Markets (DCM)
- Equity Capital Markets (ECM)
- Structured Products & Derivatives
The firm advises clients on:
- Acquisitions (majority and minority stakes)
- Refinancing and recapitalisation
- Monetisation via sales or Initial Public Offerings (IPOs)

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage high-quality deliverables, including:
- Marketing materials
- Financial models and analyses
- Client pitches and presentations
- Active involvement in M&A, leverage financing, and capital markets transactions, collaborating with clients, investors, and internal teams.
- Coordinate with industry, product, and country teams to align on strategy, priorities, and client needs.
- Support cross-functional mandates, contributing to the development and execution of transactions.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Previous work experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, consulting, or a related field is essential.
- Advanced technical skills, particularly in:
- Financial modelling
- Valuation methodologies
- Corporate finance expertise
- Proactive, sector-agnostic mindset with strong analytical ability and the ambition to work across multiple industries and transaction types.
- Ownership orientation—ability to take initiative, manage all aspects of projects, and collaborate effectively across teams.
