About Aptura
Aptura is a research partner to the frontier AI labs: Anthropic, OpenAI, Google DeepMind. We capture how experienced professionals actually reason, so the models can learn from it.
The role:
Three months of banking work, done properly, without the pitch cycle, the staffer, or the live client. Half of it is building. The other half is judging what's already been built, yours and other people's, and being able to say precisely why it holds or why it doesn't.
- Build DCFs, trading comps, precedent transactions and LBOs from scratch, to live-mandate standard, with full supporting assumptions
- Produce valuations, models and decks across M&A, financial advisory and capital markets
- Review other contributors' work the way an associate reviews an analyst's: check the logic, find the broken link, send it back with the reason
- Judge AI-generated analysis on the same terms, and say when it's wrong however polished it looks
- Work with our research team to turn how bankers actually think into something a model can learn

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
