Investment Banking Internship – Institutional Sales & Capital Markets (On-Site, London)

Swiss Finance is offering an on-site Investment Banking Internship in London focused on institutional sales, capital introduction, and investor engagement for private placement of debt, equity and hedge fund LP stakes. This role reflects the institutional sales side of investment banking, involving outreach to investors, allocator research, and early-stage bookbuilding-style workflows.

This is designed for students and recent graduates or career changes seeking real investment banking experience (but others are welcome to apply). Swiss Finance operates internationally and supports affiliated brands with active operations in London, New York, Zurich, Stockholm, and other financial hubs.

This opportunity is structured as a selective institute-based professional training programme offered by Britannica Capital Institute and Swiss Finance Institute, providing exposure comparable to elite internships in an educational (non-employment) context, and leveraging decades of institutional training frameworks developed through Swiss Finance Academy.

This internship is unpaid, following European practical training norms, with substantial real investment banking experience.

About the Role

You will support the institutional sales function within Swiss Finance. Your work will focus on sourcing and engaging allocators, conducting outreach, and supporting capital introduction and bookbuilding-style activities for our clients and affiliates.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
