Reporting To: Senior Investment Banker / Investment Banking Lead
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investment Banker Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in various aspects of investment banking, including financial analysis, fundraising, deal structuring, and market research. The internship complies with relevant laws, including Sections 44-47 of the UK National Minimum Wage Act 1998, which exempts voluntary workers and work experience programs from wage requirements. In the US, this role aligns with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), focusing on educational benefits and voluntary participation.
Key Responsibilities:
As an intern, you will have the opportunity to shadow, learn, and assist the investment banking team in:
- Financial Analysis & Valuation: Assisting in conducting financial modeling, company valuations, and preparing key performance reports.
- Market Research: Analyzing market trends, investment opportunities, and competitive landscapes to support decision-making.
- Deal Execution: Supporting the preparation of investment memoranda, pitch decks, and due diligence documentation.
- Fundraising Support: Assisting with fundraising activities, investor outreach, and maintaining investor databases.
- Investor Relations: Helping to manage relationships with venture capital firms, angel investors, and strategic partners.
- Training & Presentations: Contributing to the preparation of client presentations, proposals, and financial reports.
- Transaction Structuring: Gaining exposure to the deal structuring process, including equity financing, debt arrangements, and convertible securities.
- Operational Support: Assisting with the organization of client meetings, investment events, and liaising with potential investors.
- Research & Insight: Conducting research on the latest investment trends, financial technologies, and regulatory changes affecting the investment sector.

Eligibility Criteria:

- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong interest in investment banking and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
