Investment Banking / Private Equity Expert - Remote
We are seeking experienced Investment Banking / Private Equity professionals to support a cutting-edge AI training and financial modeling project. This is a remote, hourly contract role focused on replicating real-world financial workflows to help improve next-generation AI financial reasoning systems. Position: Finance Expert Hourly Rate: USD $150/hour Contract Duration: Through end of February (extension possible) Commitment: 10–40 hours/week depending on your availability Location: Fully remote Payment: Weekly payouts via Stripe Connect, based on hours logged High performers are prioritized for future AI Finance, LLM Evaluation, and Modeling projects Role Responsibilities (Training support will be provided) Build detailed financial models from scratch, including LBOs, DCFs, operating models, and transaction-driven analyses. Evaluate, refine, and validate AI-generated financial reasoning, ensuring accuracy, logical rigor, and professional-grade outputs. Review deal-related scenarios, prompts, and work products, improving clarity, depth, and analytical quality. Collaborate asynchronously with research teams to enhance AI model performance and real-world financial realism. Deliver structured, transparent, and audit-ready financial analysis, aligned with standards used at top-tier banking and PE firms. Requirements Minimum 2+ years of direct, on-desk experience in Investment Banking or Private Equity at a top-tier firm (Academic experience does not count). Strong track record in transaction execution, deal modeling, valuation, and financial analysis. Proven ability to construct models independently and articulate assumptions clearly. Excellent written communication, attention to detail, and ability to review technical financial content. Ability to commit minimum 20 hours/week, working fully remotely and asynchronously.
