Job Title: Senior Associate to VP Level - Consumer Investment Banking
Our client is a global independent investment bank with a market-leading Consumer franchise, advising private equity funds, founder-owned businesses and listed corporates on cross-border sell-side and buy-side mandates across food & beverage, branded consumer, pet care and leisure. The London Consumer team is hiring at Senior Associate to VP level following sustained deal flow.
Responsibilities
- Run day-to-day execution on sell-side and buy-side M&A processes, including valuation, financial modelling and preparation of information memoranda, management presentations and board materials
- Manage workstreams end-to-end alongside deal teams, coordinating with clients, PE sponsors, legal counsel and diligence providers through to completion
- Lead origination support — sector mapping, target screening and pitch materials — contributing directly to the team's pipeline in food & beverage and adjacent consumer sub-sectors
- Supervise and develop analysts and junior associates, taking ownership of output quality and process discipline

Qualifications

- 4–8 years' M&A or corporate finance experience gained at an investment bank, Big 4 corporate finance
- Demonstrable execution track record across completed transactions, with strong LBO, DCF and comparable company modelling skills
- Degree from a leading university; ACA, CFA or an equivalent corporate finance qualification is advantageous
- Confident client-facing presence, with the maturity to manage senior stakeholders and the ambition to build a coverage profile over time
