Job Description

Contract type: Permanent

Location: Glasgow and Manchester (Alderley Park)

Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based

Closing date: 3rd August 2026

We’re hiring an Investment Data and Reporting Manager to strengthen how investment insight supports business decision making across Royal London.

Sitting within the Investment Solutions team in our Adviser & Customer function, this role focuses on shaping clear, trusted investment insight that helps leaders, customers and partners understand performance, risk and outcomes.

You’ll take ownership of ensuring reporting is consistent, audience-led and decision ready. Alongside enhancing core investment reporting, you’ll play a key role in improving data quality, processes and controls, and in setting clear Sources of Truth. You’ll help shape how data is governed, prioritised and communicated across the business, ensuring colleagues have the insights they need to make informed decisions.

This is a high‑visibility role with genuine ownership, where you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and influence how investment insight is used to support strategy and customer outcomes.

About the role

  • Lead the delivery of clear, consistent and purposeful investment insight for customers, advisers, employers as well as senior leaders and governance forums
  • Own and evolve investment data Sources of Truth, embedding strong governance, clarity of ownership and consistency of use
  • Design and embed investment reporting that is tailored to different audiences, enabling effective decision making rather than just information delivery
  • Set and manage reporting priorities, balancing demand, timelines and resources across the team
  • Strengthen end‑to‑end reporting processes, risk management and control frameworks
  • Act as a key point of contact for third‑party data and reporting providers, overseeing service quality, issue resolution and continuous improvement

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
