We are partnering with a large institutional investment organisation seeking to appoint an Investment Data Lead to support the continued evolution of its investment data and analytics platform.
This position sits at the intersection of investment management, data engineering, and advanced analytics, playing a key role in enabling investment, risk, portfolio management, and finance teams through high-quality data products and scalable technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop investment data platforms supporting public and private market activities • Build and maintain data pipelines covering holdings, performance, risk, exposures, cash flows, benchmark and market data • Develop robust data models and semantic layers to support analytics, reporting and AI-enabled use cases • Partner closely with investment, risk and finance professionals to translate business requirements into scalable solutions • Drive best practice across data engineering, software development and data governance • Support the evolution of cloud-based data platforms and modern analytics environments

Candidate Profile:
• Strong experience within asset management, sovereign wealth funds, pensions, insurance, endowments or other institutional investment environments • Deep understanding of investment data, portfolio analytics, performance measurement and market data structures • Strong technical expertise across Python, SQL and modern cloud data platforms • Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, dbt or similar technologies highly advantageous • Proven ability to build enterprise-scale data solutions supporting investment decision-making
