A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Investment Director to join a highly respected UK wealth management business with an excellent reputation for delivering bespoke investment management and financial planning solutions to high-net-worth individuals, families, charities and institutions.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an established and growing team, where you will play a key role in developing client relationships, managing significant investment portfolios and supporting the continued growth of the Birmingham office.
The Role
As an Investment Director, you will have the opportunity to:
- Build and develop trusted relationships with high-net-worth clients
- Provide tailored investment advice and portfolio management solutions
- Manage and grow client portfolios in line with individual objectives and investment strategies
- Identify and convert new business opportunities through referrals, networking and professional relationships
- Work closely with Financial Planning colleagues to deliver a holistic wealth management service
- Contribute to the continued growth and success of the Birmingham office
- Support the mentoring and development of junior investment professionals

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Level 6 qualification or above with relevant investment management experience
- Significant experience within wealth management or investment management
- A strong track record of managing high-net-worth client relationships
- Experience developing new business and growing assets under management
- A proactive and commercial approach with the ability to identify and convert opportunities
- Experience managing complex investment portfolios
- Excellent communication, analytical and relationship management skills
