About Flashpoint

Flashpoint is an international tech investment firm with approximately $600 million in assets under management (AUM), focusing on U.S. and Western European tech companies originating from Europe and MENA. Flashpoint manages eight funds across three products: Venture Growth, Growth Debt, and Direct Secondary. The firm is headquartered in London, with offices in New York, Tel Aviv, and other financial centers.

Flashpoint's Growth Debt fund provides venture lending solutions to high-growth, VC-backed technology companies across Europe. We move fast, structure thoughtfully, and build lasting relationships across the European venture ecosystem.

The Role

We are hiring an Investment Director into our Growth Debt fund. This is a senior, high-ownership role covering the full investment lifecycle - from origination and underwriting through to IC approval, legal close, and portfolio management.

The successful candidate will operate with a high degree of autonomy and is expected to lead investment transactions independently. We are searching for someone with a keen deal-making instinct who can articulate an investment thesis and drive transactions from first conversation to funded close, and the drive to develop a strong presence in the European and US VC ecosystems.

Responsibilities

Investment Execution

  • Co-ordinate and lead the full deal lifecycle: origination, initial screening, detailed financial assessment and modelling, due diligence, IC presentation and approval, and documentation through to close.
  • Structure and negotiate term sheets, credit agreements, warrant instruments, and security packages - co-ordinating with external counsel and counterpart legal teams.
  • Present and defend investment recommendations at Investment Committee with clarity and conviction.
  • Contribute to the strategic development of the Growth Debt product and the optimisation of fund processes and procedures.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
