Our client, a leading international law firm, is looking to recruit an Investment Funds Associate or Senior Associate to join its growing London team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established private funds practice advising a broad range of fund sponsors, institutional investors and financial institutions. The role offers exposure to sophisticated domestic and cross-border mandates, genuine responsibility from an early stage and a clear pathway for long-term career progression.
The Role
You'll work on a broad range of private funds matters, advising clients throughout the lifecycle of fund formation, fundraising and ongoing operations. As part of a collaborative team, you'll have the opportunity to build strong client relationships while working alongside specialists across multiple jurisdictions on complex, international mandates.

Responsibilities
- Advising on the establishment, structuring and operation of private investment funds
- Drafting and negotiating a range of fund documentation
- Supporting fundraising processes and investor negotiations
- Working closely with colleagues across tax, regulatory and other specialist teams to deliver integrated advice
- Managing matters with appropriate supervision while taking increasing ownership of client relationships
- Assisting with business development initiatives and contributing to the continued growth of the practice
Candidate Profile
Applicants should have:
- 2–6 years' PQE with experience in private funds or investment funds
- Experience advising fund managers, institutional investors or other market participants
- Strong drafting, negotiation and project management skills
- A commercial approach and an interest in developing expertise across the private funds sector
- Experience working on cross-border matters would be advantageous
- Excellent academic credentials and strong communication skills
