Investment Manager

We are partnering exclusively with a leading real estate investment management firm to appoint an Investment Manager to their London team, focused on managing UK holdings across real estate funds and JV platforms. This role offers strong exposure across sectors, with a lead role across investment and portfolio management.

Responsibilities

  • Assess potential investments through detailed research, market comparables, and site visits
  • Build and stress-test financial models, forming an independent view on manager and operator assumptions
  • Prepare clear investment recommendations and materials for internal decision-making
  • Monitor existing fund and joint venture positions, tracking performance against business plans
  • Represent the business on advisory boards and maintain regular dialogue with managers and partners
  • Keep abreast of strategy, governance and sustainability considerations across the portfolio
  • Support portfolio construction and contribute to client reporting and communications
  • Supervise and guide junior team members

  • Master's degree in finance, investment, or real estate
  • 6-9 years' experience in real estate investment management, fund management, investment banking, Big Four, or similar environments
  • Strong analytical skills with a well-developed critical attitude
  • Independent, proactive, and commercially sharp
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
