About Servaada, a Wipro company:

Servaada is a separate legal entity, authorised by the FCA and has been set up by Wipro to provide regulated outsourcing services within the Financial Services industry. Our clients are leading providers for pension schemes and investment platforms. Servaada will be providing business and technology process outsourcing services and an end to end front and back-office operations support.

Role Purpose

This new role establishes the Line 1.5 Investment Administration Risk & Controls function, acting as the operational and analytical bridge between Investment Administration (1LOD) and Compliance (2LOD). The role manages market surveillance, daily controls, reconciliations oversight, reporting, and analytics to ensure all relevant controls are executed before escalation.

Line 1, Line 1.5, and 2LOD Responsibilities

  • Line 1.5 owns the execution, first-level review, and documentation of IA and surveillance controls; Line 1 owns operational processing; and 2LOD provides independent oversight and challenge.
  • This role ensures timely analysis, triage, and escalation, providing structured challenge and insight across IA, Trading Support, Technology, Clients, and Risk functions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Market Surveillance, Controls Operation & Daily Oversight

  • Execute and document the daily market-surveillance control suite (price moves, DTV anomalies, news adjacency, peer alignment, liquidity shifts).
  • Perform first-level analysis of surveillance alerts, investigate exceptions, and escalate issues promptly where thresholds or patterns indicate concern.
  • Identify behaviours, anomalies, or themes requiring 2LOD or senior-management escalation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
