Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
It searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
We’re looking for an experienced Investment Operations Analyst to join our Asset Onboarding team within Investment Operations on a 6 month fixed term contract. You will play a key role in ensuring we deliver great outcomes for our users by maintaining high‑quality asset static data and managing new asset requests. You’ll work closely with external fund managers to gather required information, set up new assets, and ensure trading accounts are opened correctly and efficiently.

Accurate asset static data is critical to the smooth operation of our platform and impacts many downstream processes. While your primary focus will be in the Asset Onboarding team, we encourage a broad understanding of the full investment lifecycle — including trading, settlements, dividends, and corporate actions — giving you exposure across the wider operation.
This is a fast‑paced and engaging role where attention to detail is essential. You’ll be someone who enjoys improving processes, strengthening controls, and helping design solutions that allow us to better serve our clients while safeguarding their assets. You will need to understand the implications of your actions and operate within our risk framework.
A Bit About You Your friends might describe you as the “super‑organised one” — always planned, always prepared, and always thinking one step ahead. You take the time to understand people and their needs, ask great questions, and can react quickly when problems arise.
We value cultural contribution as highly as technical ability, but we’d ideally like you to have: Previous experience in an asset onboarding, investment operations, or fund setup role, ideally within a wrap platform or asset management environment. Experience setting up new assets and opening fund manager trading accounts, including handling required documentation. Strong understanding of AML processes and experience completing checks on trading accounts. Knowledge of key asset classes and their impact on operational processes. Understanding of the trade lifecycle, from execution through to settlement and reconciliation. Excellent relationship‑building skills with both internal teams and external fund managers. The ability to prioritise high‑impact tasks without losing sight of the details. Outstanding communication skills, representing our culture with a friendly, agile, and solutions‑focused style. The ability to anticipate needs, manage conflicting priorities, and remain calm under pressure. A natural inclination to improve processes and find better ways of working. And simply — you enjoy helping people. A little about us We’re the Nucleus Financial Platforms group and we help make retirement more rewarding. People come first - whether it’s our colleagues, or the advisers and customers we support, we know that working in partnership and collaboration leads to the best outcomes. Together, we’ve shaped the platform to how it is today. We work hard, and we celebrate hard too. Our ambition is to create a platform with a difference, putting the customer centre stage meant tearing up the rule book and starting from scratch. We’ve come a long way since then, but our mission remains just as focused. That’s why our culture, values, and social responsibility are things we keep at the top of our agenda – because we know they matter and have a big impact. Our culture is one of the many things that sets us apart from the pack. We want to have an environment where our people feel that they can make a real difference, know they’ll be rewarded for their efforts and more importantly, enjoy themselves at work.
