Investment Operations Analyst

GoHenry is a UK-based fintech company designed to pioneer financial education for kids and teens. Recently, GoHenry expanded into Europe and the US through partnerships with PixPay (France) and Acorns (US). Together, they serve over 6 million members across five countries.

GoHenry provides a debit card and app for kids and teens, along with companion apps for the family, enabling features such as:

  • Sending money between family members
  • Automating allowance and managing chores
  • Savings goals with check-ins and rewards
  • Charity contributions
  • In-app financial education (videos, quizzes, points & badges)

About the Role

We are seeking an Investment Operations Analyst to join our Investment Ops team. You’ll need to be:

  • Confident and detail-oriented
  • Familiar with a (J)ISA product
  • Comfortable working with internal and external stakeholders

This is a permanent full-time (37.5 hrs/week) office-based role at our Farnborough headquarters, with a hybrid option of up to 2 remote days post-probation.


Key Responsibilities

Reporting & Analysis

  • Produce weekly and monthly financial reports for internal stakeholders, tracking:
    • Platform performance
    • Variances in data
  • Analyse monthly trading volumes to identify:
    • Transactional trends
    • Volume spikes
    • Shifts in platform usage
  • Reconcile monthly fee revenue, audit platform fee deductions, and investigate discrepancies
  • Compile JISA Transfer Out feedback for monthly reviews, presenting:
    • Attrition data
    • Churn reasons to drive product/service improvements

Process Improvement

  • Review operational workflows for inefficiencies, risks, or compliance gaps (e.g., JISA Voids)
  • Translate operational insights into clear SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to ensure:
    • Consistency
    • Scalability across the team

Operations

  • Oversee end-to-end back-office processing of JISA maturities, including:
    • Fund sales
    • Customer communications
  • Process JISA transfers to new providers
  • Handle panel cancellations, including:
    • Coordination with Seccl
    • Fund sales
    • Customer communication
  • Perform daily cash management checks on JISA funds, resolving discrepancies

Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as liaison with:
    • Third-party providers
    • Investment Product team
    • Member Services
  • Provide support for complex customer cases, including:
    • Transfers
    • Cancellations
    • Refunds
  • Investigate and respond to escalated customer queries within agreed SLAs

Key Requirements

  • Experience with ISA or JISA and mainstream investment products
  • 3+ years in a financial services operational role
  • Track record in a service-level environment with:
    • Multitasking
    • Prioritisation of tasks
  • Confidence in using back-office systems
  • FCA experience or regulatory training is advantageous
  • Ability to:
    • Manage reporting & analyse financial data confidently
    • Maintain strong attention to detail
    • Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
