About the Role
A high-performing boutique investment firm, specialising in equities and alternatives, is seeking an ambitious Investment Operations professional. Known for its strong performance and innovative product offering, the firm provides a collaborative, flat structure and genuine opportunity to progress into leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Initial Focus on Investment Operations: This role will initially focus on Investment Operations, with structured development across Fund Accounting and Valuations, offering a clear pathway into a broader leadership position spanning both functions.
- Team and Workflow Management: Working within a lean, high-impact team, responsibilities will include oversight of NAV production, reconciliations, and reporting, alongside wider middle and back-office activities.
- Systems Transformation: A key element of the position is involvement in an ongoing systems transformation, providing the opportunity to shape processes, improve controls, and drive operational efficiency across the platform.
- Leadership and Development: From the outset, the successful candidate will take on informal leadership responsibilities, supporting junior team members, overseeing workflow, and contributing to team development, with a clear route into a formal Team Lead role.

Requirements
- Experience: Candidates must bring strong experience in investment operations within asset management. Exposure to equities and/or alternative asset classes is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: A solid understanding of NAV processes and fund accounting principles is desirable. Strong Excel skills, including VBA or macros and Enfusion system experience is advantageous.
