Investment Operations - Senior Change Analyst / Business Analyst
£100,000-£110,000 per annum
Our client is a rapidly growing pension fund who invest across global financial markets, real assets, private credit, and private equity. They currently have an exciting opportunity for an Investment Operations Senior Change Analyst / Business Analyst. The role sits within their small central change team and would suit someone who has worked in operations within an Investment Management / Asset Management company and also has experience of working on projects. A good knowledge of Derivatives is required for this role.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Provide business analysis and support including analysing current state processes, identifying gaps/opportunities, negotiating changes and designing and implementing future state processes.
- Provide SME/technical expertise for small to medium scale change and transformation activities across Operations and Investments.
- Gain a deep understanding of business applications used within Investment Operations and the integrations between them to effectively support the Investment Portfolio operating model, identification of risks, change opportunities and development of strong controls.
- Design, build and deliver solutions using the tools available in the Office 365 environment (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) to drive simplicity at scale.
- Provide subject matter expertise into strategic and major projects and deliver information and decisions between Investment Operations and Project teams.
- Collaborate with other Delivery and Improvement functions within the fund and work with partners in the Finance and Risk department to provide them visibility into change activities and mitigate operational risks identified as part of the change.
- Present change overview, status updates, findings, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Experience Required:

- Seasoned professional with experience working at a Superannuation Fund, Fund Manager, Custodian or Asset Servicing company. Candidates from Investment Banking will also be considered.
- Experience in Change implementation / projects as an SME or Business Analyst supporting change.
- Operational understanding of the data flows between Asset Owner, Fund Manager and Custodian/Administrator/Registry in Public & Private markets.
- Experience with building Microsoft Excel VBAs/ Macros, automation tools (Power BI, Automate, etc) desirable but not essential.
- Experience working with or supporting Investment applications such as Aladdin, Calypso, Simcorp Dimension, Bloomberg, FX All, and other platforms used in both Public and Private Markets.
- Good knowledge of Derivatives.
