Intro
We’re proud to have been helping our clients build better financial futures for over 50 years. How have we achieved this? By working together - and supporting each other - all over the world. So, join our team and feel like you’re part of something bigger.
About your team
The Global Platform Solutions Investment Solutions Team is responsible for the research, design, development and ongoing management of investment solutions used by our retail and institutional clients. The team plays an important role in shaping the investment proposition, supporting product development, improving customer outcomes and ensuring our offering remains relevant, competitive and aligned to client needs.
About your role
We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded Manager to support the strategic development and ongoing management of our investment proposition. This is a broad and visible role for someone who is a self-starter, comfortable working with ambiguity and confident building trusted relationships across a wide range of stakeholders.
You will act as a bridge between investment, distribution, client, platform and operational teams, helping to turn investment expertise, market insight and client needs into clear proposition priorities and practical actions. You will support the development, enhancement and launch of investment products and solutions, using competitor analysis, client feedback, regulatory insight and product data to identify opportunities, shape product positioning and keep our offering aligned to business priorities.
The right candidate will bring structure to complex topics, communicate investment concepts clearly and confidently, and help drive initiatives forward in a changing environment. You will be curious, adaptable and keen to learn, with the confidence to challenge constructively and the judgement to bring people with you.
Key responsibilities
You will:
- Support investment related strategy discussions and help define proposition priorities across retail and institutional channels.
- Drive and support the development, management and launch of investment products and solutions.
- Prepare high quality papers, presentations and recommendations for senior stakeholders, governance forums and committee meetings.
- Translate complex investment topics into clear, practical messages for a range of audiences.
- Act as the customer voice in service design, proposition development and innovation initiatives.
- Build strong internal networks to gather input, align stakeholders and identify new opportunities for proposition development.
- Identify market, product and client trends to help inform investment proposition priorities and product road maps.
- Analyse competitor positioning, product structures, pricing, sustainability themes and client propositions.
- Review the existing investment product line up and identify opportunities for enhancement, consolidation or new product development.
- Support early stage product design, including target market, product features, vehicle considerations, commercial rationale and client demand.
- Use internal and external data sources to support analysis, prioritisation and decision making.
- Track delivery plans, milestones, risks, issues, actions and dependencies across relevant proposition initiatives.
- Own defined deliverables or workstreams, ensuring high quality outputs are delivered within agreed timeframes.
- Support communication and client facing teams to ensure the investment proposition is explained clearly and effectively.
- Maintain product specifications and support the rollout of proposition enhancements.
- Help assess proposition performance, including customer outcomes, profitability, commercial impact and ongoing suitability.
- Support compliance and governance requirements relating to the investment proposition.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
