Investment Strategy Analyst (AI Training)

About The Role

What if your expertise in financial analysis and investment strategy could directly shape how AI understands markets, companies, and economic forces? We're looking for Investment Strategy Analysts to support cutting-edge AI research workflows — evaluating company fundamentals, competitive positioning, and macro trends to help AI systems reason more accurately about the financial world.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for experienced finance and strategy professionals. If you have a sharp analytical mind and a background in investment research, consulting, or corporate finance, this is your opportunity to put that expertise to work in a high-impact, forward-looking context.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze company performance drivers, financial statements, and key business metrics
  • Evaluate strategic positioning, competitive dynamics, and market conditions
  • Identify and interpret macro trends and their implications for investment scenarios
  • Compare narrative commentary and qualitative signals against quantitative data
  • Summarize opportunities, risks, and potential investment scenarios in structured formats
  • Deliver clear, well-reasoned insights aligned to specific project and research needs
  • Work independently and asynchronously on task-based assignments

Who You Are

Core Requirements

  • Background in investment research, equity analysis, consulting, corporate strategy, or finance
  • Strong analytical reasoning with the ability to synthesize complex financial and strategic information
  • Excellent written communication — you can translate nuanced analysis into clear, structured insights
  • Comfortable assessing both competitive dynamics and financial fundamentals
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and reliable when working independently

Nice to Have

  • Experience with valuation methodologies — DCF, comps, precedent transactions, or similar frameworks
  • Familiarity with sector-specific investment frameworks or industry analysis
  • Background in buy-side or sell-side research, private equity, or strategy consulting
  • Exposure to AI tools or structured data evaluation workflows
