16VC

Reports to: General Partner

About 16VC

16VC is a new early-stage venture capital firm investing in ambitious founders building category-defining technology companies. We are currently building our inaugural fund and developing a strong network of long-term partners—including founders, operators, family offices, and investors.

Role Overview

We are looking for an Investor Relations Associate based in the United States or the United Kingdom to support fundraising and investor development for the fund.

This role will work closely with the General Partner (GP) to:

  • Help build the firm’s LP (Limited Partner) pipeline
  • Manage investor outreach operations
  • Support the overall fundraising process

The position is remote but will require travel for investor meetings, industry events, and ecosystem networking across the US, UK, and relevant venture hubs.

This is an exceptional opportunity for someone interested in venture capital and private markets, offering hands-on involvement in building a new fund from the ground up.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
