Job Description
Overview of the Role
As our Investor Relations Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping how Sage communicates its financial, operational and strategic performance to the market. This is a high-profile role where you will work closely with senior stakeholders across finance, communications and the executive leadership team to support and deliver our global Investor Relations (IR) programme.
You’ll help strengthen relationships with institutional investors and analysts, contribute to market-leading results communications, and provide valuable insight back into the business. With exposure to senior leadership and external stakeholders, this role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while developing a deep understanding of Sage’s strategy, industry and performance.
Overview of the Team
You’ll join a collaborative and high-performing Investor Relations team within Global Finance, reporting to the VP Investor Relations. The team works closely with colleagues across finance, corporate communications and senior leadership to deliver clear, consistent and compelling messaging to the investment community.
This is a team that values collaboration, ownership and continuous improvement, where you’ll be encouraged to take initiative, bring fresh ideas and contribute to a culture focused on excellence and delivery.

Office Location
London
Hybrid Working, 3 days per week in our London office and 2 days from home
Key Responsibilities
We’re looking for a confident and collaborative individual with strong financial acumen and a passion for communications, who thrives in a fast-paced and high-profile environment.
What you’ll be doing?
- Driving investor engagement activity, including identifying and targeting new shareholders.
- Supporting relationships with analysts, including reviewing financial models and research.
- Responding to day-to-day IR queries in a timely and accurate manner.
- Managing key IR deliverables such as quarterly, half-year and full-year results, and capital markets events.
- Creating and developing content for investor materials including presentations, results releases and the Annual Report.
- Supporting the Annual Report process, from planning and content creation through to approvals and delivery.
- Maintaining and improving the Investor Relations section of sage.com.
- Analysing performance, competitor activity and market trends to support strategic decision-making.
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience and Skills You’ll Bring
- A proactive, self-starting approach with the ability to take ownership and deliver outcomes.
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and solid financial literacy.
- Effective problem-solving skills with an appetite for challenge.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A relevant professional qualification. (ACA, CIMA, CFA or equivalent)
- Previous experience in Investor Relations is preferred.
