About SuperSeed

We back technical founders building AI for the physical world. From manufacturing, logistics and construction to agriculture, energy and healthcare, we invest in software that changes how things get made, moved and built. We lead at pre-seed and seed, often writing a founder's first institutional cheque, and we add real operating support on top of capital.

Founded in 2018 by Mads Jensen and Dan Bowyer, we are entrepreneurs investing in entrepreneurs, with multiple exits as both founders and investors. We have backed 37 companies across our funds, both Top Quartile performers, and we are building one of Europe's best early-stage firms.

The Role

This is a seat for someone who wants to learn the craft of venture from the ground up and has the ceiling to become a partner. You will work directly with our partners and investors from day one: getting close to founders, sourcing deals, interviewing teams, analysing markets and running diligence. You will represent SuperSeed at events and bring us companies and themes worth our attention.

It is a role with real responsibility, not a rotation. You will own work that matters early, and the responsibility grows as fast as you do.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What You'll Own

Sourcing: finding and reaching the founders we should know, before anyone else does Founder conversations: first calls, interviews, forming a view and writing it down Market work: mapping sectors and themes across our verticals and having an opinion Diligence: digging into companies, markets and numbers to pressure-test a deal Building leverage: using AI to make all of the above faster and sharper

What We're Looking For

You are AI-native. You don't just follow AI, you build with it. You can show us something you have made or automated with AI tools: a research workflow, a screening model, a scraper, a working prototype. When a task repeats, your instinct is to automate it, and you can direct and sanity-check what the model produces rather than taking it on trust. You are genuinely excited about AI in Industry 4.0 and the real economy, and you want to spend your days around the founders building it. You think clearly and write well. You form a view and back it. You work at pace, juggle several things at once, and take ownership without being managed. You want to be in the room. We work in person from our central London office and value the time face to face.

Prior startup or operating experience is a plus, not a requirement. We care more about how you think and what you can already do than your CV.

How to Apply

Send us:

A short written take (one page) on a company or market you find interesting, and your view: would you invest, and why or why not? Something you have built with AI. Show us the artifact, a link, or a short description of what it does and how you made it. A few lines on who you are and something genuine about you we wouldn't learn from a CV.

If it's a fit, you'll have an intro call with our Head of Talent, then interviews and a task with the investment team, possibly a group assessment, and finally a meeting with our partners in our London office.

SuperSeed is an equal opportunity employer. We hire on merit and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
