About Us

How did Web Summit become, in the words of Forbes, “the best tech conference on the planet”? Meaningful connections. Our tech events are unmissable because we make it easier for the right people to meet and connect. Everyone at Web Summit works towards this goal.

And we’re just getting started.

We’re always looking to build on the impact we have already made at Web Summit. In the coming years we’ll take Web Summit to new markets, promoting global connectivity, highlighting important issues and connecting global leaders – all while making a positive impact on the environment and communities we encounter.

To build a better company, we have to better ourselves. We do that by finding the most ambitious people to work with us.

About The Team

Our investor team has been instrumental in increasing the number of attending investors at our conferences. These have included everyone from local angel investors to representatives from Venture Capital funds such as Andreessen Horowitz and Sequoia Capital.

We manage relationships and help investors maximise their engagement before, during and after all our global events across 4 continents. In essence, we’re developing and maintaining relationships with leading decision-makers in tech across the globe.

What You’ll Achieve At Web Summit

  • You’ll lead the team which actively and selectively identify, recruit, and foster relationships with some of the most innovative venture investors, ensuring their attendance at our events.
  • You’ll work closely with our Speaker team to source speakers for our Venture stage and event.
  • You’ll lead sales initiatives and coach your team each day as they speak with the world’s leading investors, from partners at the most esteemed funds to emerging early-stage firms. Our investors represent an extensive range of sectors, industries, geographies, and investment stage focus – from pre-seed to private equity.
  • You’ll act as a knowledgeable and visible presence in the industry and community, creating exciting proposals for our attending investors. This knowledge will also be leveraged to support internal teams.
  • You’ll oversee and maintain an active and up-to-date database of attending investors and prospects in Salesforce, ensuring your team approaches this tool with best practices and database analysis.
  • You’ll collaborate with the Growth, f.ounders, Speakers, and Attendee Success teams to generate leads and implement world-class attendee experience strategies to help your team reach their goals.
  • You’ll also work closely with the Business Intelligence team, analysing sales funnel data to consistently improve critical sales processes.
  • You’ll provide information to the Content team so they can share the success stories, opinions and capital commitments of the top investors attending.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
