About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate iOS Developer to join our team on a contractual basis. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications that align with our client’s digital transformation objectives. This position offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative, fast-paced Agile environment, contributing to the creation of intuitive, engaging, and user-friendly iOS applications. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Swift development, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to writing clean, scalable, and maintainable code. The role is based in Glasgow with a hybrid working model, requiring one day onsite per week, providing flexibility while maintaining close collaboration with the team.

Qualifications
- Solid foundation in iOS development with relevant industry experience
- Proficiency in Swift programming
- Good understanding of iOS app architecture
- Experience working with MVVM architecture, integrating RESTful APIs, and familiarity with SwiftUI, UIKit, and other iOS frameworks
- Experience with local persistence frameworks such as CoreData
- Version control systems like Git
- Comprehensive understanding of the App Store release process, including provisioning profiles and certificates
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams
- Familiarity with reactive programming (RxSwift/Combine)
- Strong debugging, problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain features across iOS applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, analysts, and testers, to deliver seamless digital products
- Create intuitive, visually appealing, and user-friendly mobile experiences that meet stakeholder requirements
- Write clean, scalable, and well-tested Swift code, adhering to best practices and coding standards
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across digital platforms by identifying opportunities to enhance performance and usability
- Participate in technical discussions, architecture decisions, and code reviews to ensure quality and consistency
- Contribute to the development of technical documentation and specifications
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving bugs or performance issues promptly
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to incorporate innovative solutions
- Support the deployment process, including managing provisioning profiles, certificates, and submission to the App Store
