About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated iOS Developer to join our dynamic team in Glasgow. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-quality mobile applications within a fast-paced, Agile environment. As part of our team, you will be instrumental in developing innovative iOS solutions that enhance user experience and meet strategic business objectives. The position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including designers, analysts, and testers, to deliver digital products that are intuitive, scalable, and reliable. The ideal candidate will have a passion for writing clean, maintainable code and a keen eye for detail, ensuring the delivery of robust mobile applications that align with industry standards and best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong background in iOS development with proven experience in Swift programming.
- Solid understanding of MVVM architecture and familiarity with integrating RESTful APIs.
- Experience with UI frameworks such as SwiftUI and UIKit, along with knowledge of Auto Layout, Storyboards, and Size Classes.
- Practical experience working with local persistence frameworks like CoreData.
- Comfortable using version control systems such as Git.
- Good understanding of the App Store release process, including provisioning profiles and certificates.
- Familiarity with reactive programming concepts (RxSwift or Combine) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain features across our iOS applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, analysts, and testers, to deliver high-quality digital products.
- Create intuitive, visually engaging, and user-friendly mobile experiences that meet user needs and expectations.
- Write clean, scalable, and well-tested Swift code following best practices and coding standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across digital platforms by identifying opportunities for enhancement.
- Optimize application performance, usability, and development processes through innovative solutions.
- Participate in technical discussions, architecture decisions, and code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Support the deployment process, including managing provisioning profiles, certificates, and App Store submissions.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to incorporate best practices into development workflows.
