About The Role

Revolution Technology Ltd is seeking experienced iOS Developers to join a strategic project within the payments space on a contractual basis. The successful candidates will play a vital role in developing and maintaining high-performance mobile applications that facilitate seamless payment transactions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile project with a globally recognized consulting firm, contributing to innovative financial technology solutions. The position requires a commitment of three days per week onsite in London, with the contract extending until the end of 2026. The role offers a competitive daily rate of up to £430 (Inside IR35 via Umbrella), providing a rewarding opportunity for experienced iOS developers looking to make an impact in the payments industry.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in iOS development with a strong command of Swift programming language.
  • Familiarity with Objective-C, especially legacy codebases.
  • Solid understanding of MVVM architectural pattern and best practices in iOS app development.
  • Experience with unit testing and UI testing frameworks such as XCTest and XCUITest.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD build tools to streamline development and deployment processes.
  • Knowledge of REST API integration and handling network communications within mobile applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Previous experience working on financial or payments-related applications is desirable.
  • Ability to commit to a three-day onsite schedule in London.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust iOS applications that meet project requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver seamless payment solutions.
  • Implement MVVM architectural patterns to ensure scalable and maintainable codebases.
  • Write comprehensive unit and UI tests to ensure application stability and performance.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services to enable secure and efficient payment processing.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and adhere to best coding practices.
  • Maintain documentation of development processes and technical specifications.
  • Ensure timely delivery of features and updates in accordance with project timelines.
  • Stay updated with the latest iOS development trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve skills and project quality.
