👀 The Role
Title: iOS Engineer - Rewards UX
Team: Engineering / Rewards UX
Location: UK (remote)
Salary: £60,000 – £80,000 per annum
As an iOS Engineer at Midnite, working in our Rewards UX team, you’ll help shape the mobile experience for our players. From concept to launch, you’ll build a product that’s fast, intuitive, and distinctly Midnite. Collaborating with product, design, and engineering, you’ll tackle interesting technical challenges, influence how we build, and see your work directly impact customers in real time.

You will:
- Build and maintain iOS app features using Swift and modern iOS frameworks
- Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to define, develop, and ship new features
- Create intuitive, high-quality user experiences using SwiftUI and UIKit
- Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve bugs, bottlenecks, and performance issues
- Contribute to a clean, scalable, and maintainable codebase following MVVM-C architecture principles
- Write and maintain automated tests to ensure reliability and stability
- Support CI/CD pipelines and improve development workflows with tools like Fastlane and CircleCI
- Champion code quality, organisation, and testing standards across the iOS platform
The Next Midniter
Ideal candidates will have:
- 2–5 years of professional iOS development experience
- A track record of shipping production iOS apps to the App Store
- Strong proficiency in Swift 5+
- Experience with SwiftUI and comfort delivering UKit solutions
- Understanding of modern iOS architecture, particularly MVVM-C patterns
- Expertise in networking, persistence, concurrency, and threading
- Ability to craft robust tests and think beyond happy paths
- Technical comfort with Xcode and the iOS ecosystem
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like CircleCI and Fastlane
- Experience with dependency management tools such as Swift Package Manager or CocoaPods
