Purpose
As an Employment Specialist, you’ll be the bridge to opportunity for people who need support to enter or stay in work. You’ll:
- Manage a caseload of clients with mental health support needs.
- Deliver the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) or Supported Employment approach (full training provided).
- Provide person-centred advice and guidance to help clients achieve their employment goals.
- Build strong relationships with local employers to create job opportunities.
- Work towards clear, achievable targets that make a real difference.

This is a community-based role—you’ll spend the majority of your time out and about in Great Yarmouth, meeting clients and employers.
What We’re Looking For
Experience supporting people with:
- health conditions, disabilities, or substance misuse needs.
- Knowledge of IPS or Supported Employment principles (or willingness to learn).
- Strong one-to-one support skills and ability to build trust.
- Proven track record of meeting targets and delivering results.
- A passion for helping people overcome barriers and succeed.
