Summary Of The Role

The ERP IT Business Analyst Distribution supports JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Distribution processes across Trelleborg Medical Solutions sites. This role is responsible for partnering with business stakeholders and Information Systems teams to implement, enhance, and support the JDE Distribution solutions in alignment with the TMS site template and business process standards.

The position contributes to all phases of project delivery, including use cases assessment, data mapping, GAP analysis, solution design, system configuration, testing, documentation, training, and post-go-live support. The role is also responsible for functional support and continuous improvement of distribution modules related system configuration.

Tasks And Responsibilities

  • Participate in ERP Projects as a distribution IT Business Analyst for JDE E1 distribution modules, addressing project activities, such as, ERP configuration, data migration, testing, and user training.
  • Implement, support, and improve systems processes related to sales order management, distribution, shipping, pricing, and invoicing.
  • Work closely with site users and cross-functional teams to define project objectives, prioritize tasks, and functional requirements.
  • Review system solutions and validate that configurations meet business needs and template standards.
  • Gather and translate business requirements into clear functional specifications.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to review specifications, support testing, and validate configurations.
  • Support system enhancements, integrations, and other projects impacting distribution.
  • Develop and maintain Hubble/Reports Now reports and other functional documentation.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements, address concerns, and drive process improvements.
  • Contribute to the adoption and support of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne User Defined Objects (UDOs) and Orchestrations.
  • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 functional support, ensuring incidents and service requests are addressed within defined service levels.
  • Follow established IT governance, change management, and implementation standards.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or functional analyst supporting ERP Distribution processes.
  • Strong experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, with emphasis on Distribution modules.
  • Experience supporting sales order processing, shipping, pricing, inventory, and invoicing processes.
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, OTRS, or Jira.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data analysis, troubleshooting, and validation.
  • Experience developing or supporting reports using Hubble and/or ReportsNow.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Understanding of ITIL concepts and support processes.
  • Experience with JDE E1 UDOs and Orchestrations preferred.
  • Knowledge of localization and tax requirements for European countries is a plus.

Geography To Cover And Travel Requirements

Role is a global role with scope including all TMS sites. Day and overnight travel up to 10% may be required to domestic & international locations.
