Information Systems Degree Apprentice

Based at our Head Office in Telford

Salary: £26,227.50 per annum

Are you passionate about technology, problem solving and cybersecurity? Looking for an opportunity to earn while you learn? At Lyreco, we're looking for an enthusiastic IS Graduate Apprentice to join our Information Services team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting a large UK business while studying towards a degree with Staffordshire University.

What you'll be doing as an Information Services Apprentice:

  • Providing first-line IT support to colleagues across the business, both remotely and in person.
  • Troubleshooting hardware, software and user issues.
  • Supporting information security and ISO27001 compliance.
  • Helping to deliver IT security awareness and training across the business.
  • Maintaining IT hardware and software asset records.
  • Supporting continuous improvement projects within the Information Services team.
  • Building relationships with colleagues across the UK and Lyreco Group.
  • Delivering excellent customer service to users of all technical abilities.

What we're looking for in an Information Services Apprentice:

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for the degree apprenticeship, you'll need:

  • GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C (or equivalent), or be able to demonstrate Level 2 ability through an assessment.
  • A Level 3 qualification worth 112 UCAS points (or equivalent), or relevant work experience that meets the university entry requirements.
  • Eligibility to enrol on the Staffordshire University Degree Apprenticeship programme.
