About the Role
You will play a critical leadership role in orchestrating and managing complex Information Services programmes, from inception to delivery. As a strategic driver, your responsibilities will extend across:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (developers, architects, analysts, vendors)
- Stakeholder management at all levels, from frontline teams to C-Suite
- Ensuring alignment between technology and business goals
- Mentoring junior talent and fostering collaboration

Responsibilities

Strategic Programme Leadership:
- Define scope, objectives, deliverables, budgets, and timelines for high-impact IT programmes.
- Develop programme roadmaps and align with organisational strategy.

Stakeholder & Risk Management:
- Serve as the key interface for programme-related queries and escalations.
- Identify and mitigate risks/proBLEMS using proactive strategies.

Execution & Collaboration:
- Partner with cross-functional teams to prioritise requirements, allocate resources, and resolve dependencies.
- Champion best practices for programme execution (e.g., Agile/Scrum methodologies).

Feedback & Reporting:
- Track KPIs and programme metrics, providing insights to senior leadership.
- Prepare clear, actionable reports and stakeholder communications.

Vendor & Relationship Management:
- Facilitate vendor selection (including outsourced services) and partnership engagement.
- Monitor performance and cost-efficiencies throughout programme lifecycles.

Talent Development:
- Support junior programme/project managers with mentorship and knowledge shared.
Requirements
Education
- Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field (Required)
- Preferred: Master’s degree in similar disciplines (Preferred; not required)
Experience
- 5+ years as a Senior Project Manager or equivalent role, with a proven track record in IT or Healthcare sector (Required).
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex programmes successfully.
Skills & Knowledge
- Core competencies:
- Proficiency in project and programme methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall etc.).
- Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, Microsoft Project, ServiceNow.
- Leadership & Communication:
- Lead cross-functional teams effectively and inspire accountability.
- Translate technical concepts for non-specialist stakeholders.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:
- Sharp attention to detail and risk-mitigation expertise.
- Operational Resilience:
- Thrive in fast-paced, multi-priority environments.
- Healthcare IT Familiarity:
- Experience with Epic, Cerner, PeopleSoft/Fusion is a plus.
