The Opportunity

We’re excited to offer opening for an iSeries Application Support Consultant based in the UK to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and support Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Replenishment, and Order Fulfilment Systems
  • Provide 24/7 application support and development for UK iSeries customers
  • Strengthen long-term customer relationships through application enhancements
  • Offer full technical support, including programming assistance for external suppliers
  • Assist in end-to-end project management (speculation, development, testing, implementation, and support)
  • Collaborate with Getronics iSeries teams on OS upgrades, third-party software, and service interfaces

Requirements & Skills

We’re looking for a client-focused professional with:

  • Relevant support/development experience (preferred but not absolute)
  • Strong communication skills with customers, teams, and managers
  • Decision-making ability, initiative, and problem-solving expertise
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to meet service-level agreements (SLAs)
  • Technical experience in:
    • iSeries email
    • iSeries High Availability
    • WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
    • SQL & data extraction tools
    • Barcode scanning/RPG Programming (RPG/ILE, CLLE, DDS)
