About the Role
We are seeking an ISO Lead Auditor and Consultant who thrives in real-world operational environments—not just in theory. This role is for someone who has lived and breathed ISO standards in industries like manufacturing, construction, or engineering, and who can translate compliance into practical, customer-aligned solutions.
Your mission: Ensure our clients’ ISO processes are compliant, realistic, and seamlessly integrated into their daily operations. We want someone who understands the day-to-day pressures of our industry and can apply ISO frameworks without disrupting existing workflows.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Auditing with Purpose: Lead internal audits for ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and/or 27001, focusing on adding value—not just checking boxes.
- Owning the Schedule: Manage the full audit lifecycle—planning, fieldwork, reporting, and guiding clients through corrective actions.
- Translating ISO: Break down complex ISO requirements into clear, actionable advice for operational teams.
- Solving Problems Collaboratively: Identify compliance gaps and work with teams to close them, prioritizing fixes based on real-world risks.
- Facing the Music: Serve as the key point of contact during external certification and surveillance audits, ensuring a smooth process.
- Guiding Leadership: Provide structured insights for management reviews, focusing on how the system performs in practice.
- Keeping House: Maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation—legal registers, risk assessments, and more.
- Embedding the Culture: Partner with department heads to weave ISO thinking into daily work, avoiding siloed paperwork.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
