Application Manager – Glasgow
Alexander Steele Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a Glasgow-based food business to recruit an experienced Application Manager.
This is a hands-on role with responsibility for the day-to-day management and development of the company's IT systems and applications. You'll take ownership of Microsoft 365, business applications, infrastructure, end-user support, and automation, working closely with colleagues across the business and external technology partners to ensure systems are secure, reliable, and fit for purpose.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support business applications, including ERP and warehouse systems.
- Administer and optimise the Microsoft 365 environment.
- Develop and maintain Power Automate workflows.
- Oversee network infrastructure alongside the managed service provider.
- Provide Windows and macOS desktop support.
- Manage third-party suppliers, software licensing, and technical escalations.
- Identify opportunities to improve systems and business processes.

About You
- Previous experience in an Application Manager, IT Manager, or senior IT support role.
- Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate.
- Good understanding of networking and infrastructure.
- Experience supporting Windows and macOS environments.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach.
