About the Role
This hands-on opportunity is perfect for tech-savvy problem-solvers who want to directly impact a major supply chain operation by supporting critical software systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve in-house-built Azure-hosted Warehouse Management & Transport software, ensuring system reliability.
- Troubleshoot defects using .NET & T-SQL, implementing fixes or escalating to the development team as needed (tracked via ServiceNow & Jira).
- Drive down defects, steadily enhancing system stability and efficiency.
- Develop solutions across data-handling and transactional platforms while aligning with existing technical standards.
- Collaborate in agile teams with support analysts, developers, and QA specialists in scrum-based daily stand-ups.
- Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions transparently.

Requirements
Essential
- A problem-solver at heart with a structured approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Strong expertise in:
- .NET (C#/VB.NET) – including ASP.NET and object-oriented programming
- Microsoft SQL Server & T-SQL – with hands-on experience in relational databases
- Eclipse and transactional systems
- Proven track record working on data-handling and database-driven applications
Nice to Have (Preferred)
- Experience with:
- .NET Compact Framework 3.5
- WinForms, Web Services, and ADO.NET
- Front-end tools: jQuery, JavaScript (Knockout.js/TypeScript)
- Familiarity with:
- Agile frameworks (SCRUM)
- Source control (TFS, GIT, or SVN)
- Degree or certification in Computing (or equivalent) – though not mandatory if skills are demonstrated
