About The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to register your interest in future IT Architect roles within enterprise solutions architecture. Roles of this type may sit within forward-thinking organisations across the UK, where you could contribute to the design and evolution of enterprise technology landscapes that support business transformation.

You could be working across multiple locations including Manchester, Birmingham and London, helping to shape how organisations leverage technology to achieve their strategic objectives. The work could involve collaborating across technology, engineering and business teams to deliver solutions that bridge the gap between current state and future vision.

What You Would Do

Typical responsibilities could include:

  • Contributing to the design and documentation of enterprise technology architectures aligned with business strategy
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across business, technology and operations to understand requirements and constraints
  • Evaluating and recommending technology solutions, platforms and frameworks
  • Supporting the development of architecture standards, patterns and governance approaches
  • Participating in solution design reviews and providing technical guidance to delivery teams
  • Working with cross-functional teams to ensure architectural alignment across programmes and projects
  • Contributing to technology roadmaps and capability assessments

What You Could Bring

Most roles of this type require the following:

  • TOGAF 9 Certified or equivalent enterprise architecture qualification
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
  • Experience in enterprise solutions architecture or related technical leadership role
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, methodologies and best practices
  • Strong understanding of technology landscapes, integration patterns and cloud solutions
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to balance business drivers with technical constraints
