Role Overview:
As IT Asset Specialist, you will be an integral part of the IT Asset Management team, reporting to the IT Logistics Lead for EMEA. In this role, you will support the management of IT inventory, from receiving and counting products to setting up and delivering them to internal stakeholders. You'll also assist with hardware and software procurement on behalf of the IT organisation and help ensure accurate tracking of assets throughout their lifecycle. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their IT career who is detail-oriented and keen to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support IT procurement and inventory management operations.
  • Help maintain accurate records of hardware and software assets.
  • Manage inventory of equipment and other IT assets.
  • Assist with device imaging and provisioning for new hires, testing, upgrades, and replacements.
  • Support reverse logistics for returned and offboard assets.
  • Coordinate client requests and ensure timely responses.
  • Help develop and follow procedures to track company assets and maintain quality control throughout their life-cycles.
  • Ad hoc IT support and troubleshooting

Requirements:

  • 1 year+ of experience in IT asset management or a IT inventory technician or IT logistics technician or IT purchasing or IT procurement or IT support/IT technician
  • Some experience providing support in a professional IT environment is desirable.
  • Some experience in device and hardware imaging and provisioning
  • Exposure to queue management/ticketing system is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills

Initially 12 months full time contract and will extend yearly afterwards (long term rolling contract). 5 days on site near Farringdon station, Monday to Friday standard business hours. Inside IR35 contract offering £160 per day plus paid public holidays.
