Description

IT Business Analyst

Full-time | Permanent | Remote

Salaried | $88k - $132k

We are not currently working with third party agencies on this role.

About Us

Vantedge Medical is the premier metals-based med-tech solutions partner from concept to full-scale manufacturing. We are at the forefront of precision engineering and innovation, specializing in the development and manufacturing of vital components for medical markets such as Robotic Assisted Surgery, Orthopedics, Surgical Instruments, Dental, and more. Our teams work in unison, collaborating and problem-solving to serve the manufacturing needs of the top Medical Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) around the globe. Making a difference in the lives of patients and their families drives us to go above and beyond every day. With a steadfast commitment to advancing medical technology, we take immense pride in the work we do – and have a lot of fun doing it.

About This Opportunity

The Business Systems Analyst is a critical bridge between the business and IT — someone who goes deep on how work actually gets done, maps those processes with precision, and translates operational needs into clear system requirements and solutions. This is not a passive documentation role. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who builds strong relationships across operations, finance, supply chain, quality, and engineering, delivers projects on time and on budget, and holds vendors and internal resources accountable to commitments.

This role reports to the IT ERP Manager and partners closely with functional business leaders and application owners across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end business process mapping across manufacturing, procurement, inventory, quality, finance, and HR — documenting current state, designing future state workflows, and defining system inputs, outputs, and data flows for every mapped process
  • Translate operational requirements into structured Business Requirement Documents, functional specifications, and user stories that development teams and vendors can execute against without ambiguity; identify root-cause gaps and champion solutions that eliminate workarounds permanently
  • Develop comprehensive test scripts derived directly from mapped processes — covering positive paths, edge cases, and failure scenarios — and lead UAT end-to-end: prepare business testers, manage the schedule, track defects through resolution, and own the go/no-go recommendation
  • Serve as the liaison between business testers and technical teams during UAT; maintain sign-off records and lessons-learned logs that feed back into future requirements and test standards
  • Serve as a responsive and trusted point of contact for business stakeholders seeking IT support, guidance, or systems expertise
  • Manage the full support lifecycle for assigned applications (triage, escalation, resolution, and follow-up) keeping end users informed throughout
  • Identify recurring support patterns, escalate systemic issues, and drive permanent fixes rather than repeated workarounds
  • Set a high standard for how IT engages the business: proactive, clear, and focused on enabling operations — not just resolving tickets
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across operations, engineering, quality, finance, and HR — including leaders and teams who do not report into IT
  • Influence priorities, adoption, and change without formal authority; earn credibility through results and clear communication
  • Communicate technical concepts and system capabilities in plain, audience-appropriate language — decisions need to be well-informed and adoption needs to be strong
  • Manage third-party vendors, consultants, and managed service providers; hold them accountable to deliverables, timelines, and quality standards on behalf of the business
  • Consistently deliver on time and on budget; maintain visible project status across all active initiatives and be prepared to discuss specific delivery outcomes
  • Drive change management and training activities to ensure smooth transitions and strong adoption of new or modified systems
  • Maintain integrations between ERP and connected systems, escalating complex issues to the ERP Manager or technical teams as appropriate
  • Own metadata management across business groups — including manufacturing, inventory, procurement, quality, and finance — establishing and enforcing naming conventions, field definitions, data classification standards, and governance practices that ensure consistency and reliability across all systems and reporting
  • Create and maintain process flow documentation and end user training materials for all supported applications and workflows — ensuring every role impacted by a system change has clear, accurate, and accessible guidance before go-live

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
