In short:
We require a classic IT Business Analyst to support building out a framework for our new AI offering. Previous hands-on experience with BI would be nice but not necessary. We just need a strong BA to assist in defining elements of the AI framework.
Purpose of the Role
Design, implement and embed enterprise standards, controls and governance required to enable safe, auditable and scalable adoption of GenBI and Agentic BI. This role ensures that as adoption accelerates, quality, trust and control are strengthened.
Key Accountabilities
1. Testing & Assurance (Audit Action)
- Operationalise the Minimum Standard GenBI Testing Framework and Model Risk Office Governance
- Ensure testing is:
- embedded into delivery lifecycle
- consistently applied across use cases
- Establish clear evidence capture for audit and compliance
- Work with Audit / Risk partners to ensure alignment and closure of audit actions
2. Release & Control Model
- Design and implement the Minimum Standard GenBI Release Model, including:
- readiness criteria
- go-live approval model
- scaling guardrails
- Embed release controls into playbooks
3. Service & Incident Management
- Define and operationalise a GenBI service model, including:
- incident management

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
