IT Business Analyst - Oracle EBS R12 - 3 months Inside IR35
IT Business Analyst (Oracle Accounts Payable & Payments)
About the Role As an IT Business Analyst within this respected global team, you will play a pivotal role in the end-to-end delivery of Oracle Accounts Payable and Payments solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with colleagues from diverse disciplines and external banking partners.
- Translating complex business requirements into technical configurations within Oracle EBS R12.
- Ensuring seamless integration, compliance, and system reliability.
Key Responsibilities Your main tasks will cover:
Technical & Functional Analysis
- Conducting in-depth analysis of Accounts Payable processes, particularly focused on Oracle EBS Payments configurations.
- Developing XML templates tailored to unique business needs while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Balancing functional expertise (80%) with technical acumen (20%) to align business needs with technical solutions.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Creating and executing detailed test plans, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing for Oracle Payments modules.
- Writing and maintaining comprehensive test cases to guarantee system robustness.

Project Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborating across borders with internal teams, clients, and banking partners to drive global project success.
- Actively engaging with stakeholders to define requirements, resolve challenges, and deliver dependable solutions.
Process Improvement & Data Analysis
- Analyzing application usage trends to identify process improvements or innovation opportunities.
- Maintaining thorough requirement documentation throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for transparency.
User Engagement & Training
- Guiding users through new processes and troubleshooting issues with clarity.
- Fostering strong communication across departments for effective knowledge sharing.
Requirements & Qualifications
Essential Experience
- Extensive hands-on experience configuring Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Accounts Payable Payments modules.
- Proficiency in XML-based payments configurations aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to create and execute structured test plans tailored to Oracle Payments modules.
- Strong collaboration skills, adaptability, and a proven track record working with global stakeholders.

Preferred but Not Essential
- Familiarity with SWIFT Bureau services, such as TRAX.
