Business Solutions Manager, EMEA & Wellness – Hybrid Role

Hybrid working with at least 3 days per week onsite at our Quedgeley offices.

About Kohler’s EMEA IT Function

We support a diverse portfolio of businesses across:

  • The UK, Europe, Middle East, and Africa
  • Global Product Innovation (GPI) teams

The EMEA IT team is responsible for delivering:

  • Business-facing technology solutions
  • Support for day-to-day operations
  • Driving digital and technology-enabled transformation across an evolving regional landscape.

Role Description

The Opportunity

As Business Solutions Managers (BSMs) within EMEA IT, you will:

  • Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders and IT.
  • Partner closely with Regional IT and Enterprise teams in a highly collaborative, matrixed environment.
  • Drive alignment, integration and scalability of technology solutions across a diverse portfolio.

The EMEA & Wellness portfolio is complex, spanning multiple markets, brands and business models with varying levels of technology maturity. This role ensures business priorities are translated into impactful technological strategies with measurable outcomes.


Role Purpose

The Business Solutions Manager is a senior IT leadership role responsible for:

  • Strengthening regional integration across markets such as France, the Middle East, and Kohler Wellness.
  • Ensuring clear communication between business stakeholders and technology delivery teams.
  • Encouraging consistency and prioritisation across differing levels of operational complexity.
  • Collaborating with business leadership and Enterprise IT to balance local needs with enterprise strategy.
  • Guaranteeing technology investments create meaningful business value.

Core Accountabilities

Business Partnership & Relationship Ownership

  • Serve as the primary IT point of accountability for designated businesses.
  • Embed with senior business leadership as a trusted advisor, shaping IT perspectives in strategy discussions.

Technology Strategy & Roadmap Ownership

  • Create, maintain, and communicate a clear, prioritised multi-year technology roadmap aligned with:
    • Business strategy
    • Enterprise architecture
    • Deliverable capacity
  • Translate business strategy into technology roadmaps covering:
    • Digital, ERP, data
    • AI, commercial, and operational platforms

Demand Shaping & Prioritisation

  • Prioritise technology demand to ensure initiatives deliver highest business value.
  • Partner with business leaders, Enterprise Architecture, and PMO to align demand against:
    • Value potential
    • Dependencies
    • Risk factors

End-to-End Ownership of Business Outcomes

  • Ensure approved initiatives deliver their intended business value and results.
  • Collaborate across business, delivery, and operational teams to:
    • Proactively identify risks
    • Remove obstacles
    • Resolve issues impacting value realisation

Portfolio Oversight, Risk & Escalation

  • Provide end-to-end oversight of business technology portfolio.
  • Own escalation and resolution of risks, issues, and dependencies affecting outcomes.

Operational Accountability & Service Performance Visibility

  • Ensure business stakeholders have transparency on:
    • IT operational performance
    • Service health risks
    • Impacts

Investment, Business Case & Value Management

  • Partner with business and finance to:
    • Shape technology investment cases
    • Articulate expected ROI
    • Agree success metrics

Vendor & Partner Management

  • Manage primary technology vendor relationships.
  • Ensure vendors fulfil contractual, value, and roadmap commitments and drive innovation.

Leadership & People Responsibilities

  • Operate within a matrix-based IT model, influencing:
    • Business Analyses
    • Architects
    • Project Managers
  • Set clear technology and operational direction with stakeholder alignment.
  • Coach and support matrixed team members aligned with agreed outcomes.

Skills & Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of experience in:
    • IT, digital, or technology roles
    • Business-facing technology solutions
  • Proven ability to act as a trusted business partner with:
    • Business stakeholders
    • Diverse operational priorities
  • Leadership in developing technology strategies and roadmaps.
  • End-to-end project delivery experience with business value alignment.
  • Commercially-minded approach, driving alignment between IT initiatives and business objectives.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in complex, changing environments.
  • Cross-functional leadership in matrixed teams and multi-market settings.
  • Oversight of technology portfolios with focus on risk management.
  • Understanding of IT service delivery models.
  • Vendor partnership experience ensuring consistent quality outcomes.
  • Additional advantage:
    • Knowledge of multi-market business models and regional regulations.
